Radi: There is a possibility to resolve the presidency and the ministers in one basket

The Information/Baghdad… The former deputy, Rasul Radi, confirmed that there is a possibility to hold a parliament session to vote on the two presidency of the republic and the ministers in one basket, especially if the booth is ready to pass within the House of Representatives.

Radi told Al-Maalouma, “Everyone is waiting for what the Kurds will present as a candidate for the presidency, and in the event that matters are not resolved within the Kurdish House, Parliament will be able to resolve this issue and choose a candidate from among 10 candidates for the position.”

He added that “and if the Kurds present their candidate, the parliament will vote in one or two phases, in the event that one of the candidates does not obtain two-thirds, and thus the competition will take place between two of the candidates who obtained the highest votes to get one of them for the position.”

And he indicated that “there is a possibility to resolve the presidency and the prime ministership in one basket, so that the candidate for the government presents his entire booth to be voted upon, and this scenario is expected to occur.”
