State law wants a quiet parliamentary session “without prior messages”

Information / Baghdad… The leader of the State of Law coalition, Jassim Muhammad Jaafar, considered, on Wednesday, the parliamentary meeting to listen to the presentation of the framework candidate Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani for his government program, because it is not his time because it will make the other party more emotional, noting that the next parliament session is important for us and we must hold it in a calm manner.

Jaafar said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, “The meeting held by the coordination framework candidate, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, in the presence of a number of parliament members, to present his government program is not his time because it will make the other party more emotional.”

He added that “what matters to us as a coordinating framework is that the parliament session will be held in the coming days,” stressing the need for “the session to be held in a calm manner without sending advance messages that the other party may be sensitive to.”

It is hoped that the Iraqi Council of Representatives will hold its first session after a disruption that lasted for about two months, the storming of the parliament building and then the sit-in in its vicinity by followers of the Sadrist movement.
