Judicial Council: 7 billion dinars, 5.5 million dollars, and 35 properties seized in the Al-Jumaili case
The Supreme Judicial Council announced on Monday the seizure of 7 billion dinars, 5.5 million dollars, and 35 properties. Judge Diaa Jaafar, the investigating judge of the Central Anti-Corruption Criminal Court, stated in a statement carried by the official agency that “huge sums of money, properties, and vehicles belonging to the detained defendant Alaa Mohsen Khalaf, the director of the office of the detained defendant Adnan Al-Jumaili, were seized as a result of the ongoing investigations with him.”
Judge Jaafar added that “the investigation resulted in the seizure of a sum of money amounting to 7 billion Iraqi dinars, in addition to 5.5 million dollars, as well as the seizure of 35 properties and 6 cars.” BookingHistorical Guided Tours
