On Thursday, a member of the coordination framework, Adel Al-Manea, revealed that the framework had received positive signals regarding the upcoming political alliance, indicating that the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Sovereignty Alliance wanted to join an alliance that would form the government.

Al-Manei said in a statement to “Al-Maalouma”, that “the statements of the leaders of the Sovereignty Alliance regarding proceeding with the formation of the government and speeding up negotiations are positive signs towards the coordination framework.”

He added that “the framework has increased the number of its deputies to more than 140 deputies, and it is originally allied with the forces of the Alliance of Azm, the Kurdistan Union and independent deputies, which increases its share in forming the government.”

Al-Manea pointed out that “the negotiations between the Kurdish parties to resolve the presidency will give the blocs in Baghdad sufficient impetus for the comprehensive agreement to form a consensual government.”
