Political source: Saleh nominated seven ministers in Allawi’s government and dominated the Kurdish quota on the pretext of independence
The source said in an interview with Alsumaria News, “The President of the Republic ( Barham Saleh ) nominated seven ministers in the Allawi government.”
The source, who asked not to be named, added that Saleh “dominates the Kurds share on the pretext of independence.”
The Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi announced, yesterday, Wednesday, the selection of a government formation “independent for the first time in decades”, calling on parliament to hold an extraordinary session next Monday, in order to vote on giving confidence to the government.
