The Electoral Commission announced on Tuesday evening that voter turnout in the elections held that day reached 54%, noting that more than 12 million voters participated.
According to a document issued by the commission, “The total number of voters for the two days of general and special voting reached approximately 12,003,143 voters out of 21,404,291 voters.”
She added, “The voter turnout exceeds 55%.”
Iraq witnessed on Tuesday (November 11, 2025) the holding of parliamentary elections, the sixth to be held throughout the country since the events of 2003.
