Al-Sadr: There is no secret dialogue after today

Shafaq News / The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, announced on Saturday that he had submitted a proposal to the United Nations to sponsor a public debate with the “political parties”, but he did not receive a tangible response from them, while confirming that there is no secret dialogue after today.

Al-Sadr said in a tweet seen by Shafak News Agency, O beloved Iraqi people, we would like to inform you that we submitted a proposal to the United Nations (for a dialogue session) but rather a public (debate) and a live broadcast .. with all political parties, we did not see a tangible response from them, and the answer was through The mediator gave an answer that neither sufficed nor fattened from starvation, and their answer did not include anything about reform, the demands of the revolutionaries, nor what the people are suffering from.. They did not give what is happening any importance at all. Therefore, we ask everyone to wait for our other step towards the policy of ignoring what happened to Iraq and its people because of Corruption and dependency.

He added, “Do not expect us to have a new secret dialogue after that.. I do not hide anything from my people, and I will not sit with the corrupt and those who want evil or (to kill) or harm those who belong to us, the Al-Sadr family, and I have waived a lot for the sake of the people and civil peace. From fixing what has been spoiled to save Iraq.”
