The Federal Court rejects the case to challenge the constitutionality of the first session of Parliament

The Federal Court decided, on Tuesday, to reject the challenge to the constitutionality of the first session of Parliament, while noting that MP Khaled Al-Daraji presiding over the first session of Parliament does not contradict the provisions of the constitution.

The court also decided, in its session, which was held today, to cancel the state order regarding the temporary suspension of the Presidency of the Parliament, stressing that Al-Mashhadani cannot continue to run the Parliament session after announcing his candidacy for the presidency of Parliament.
