Legal expert: Abdul-Mahdi is accused of murder and ruin .. He must be tried internationally
Baghdad / news – The legal expert, Ahmed Al-Ziyadi, confirmed that the former Prime Minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, is facing charges of murder, ruin and waste of public money, and he must appear before domestic and international courts.
Al-Ziyadi told Al-Ikhbaria that “the huge amount of ruin, killing, chaos, wasting public money, conspiracy, and helping militias to kill, kidnap, and torture activists and demonstrators, all of which are charges involving Abdul-Mahdi.”
He added, “The neglect, indifference, insult, and sitting of Abdul-Mahdi in the house in exceptional circumstances and his violation of the constitution and laws, all of these charges constitute crimes that will lead to his appearance before the courts, if not local and international.”
