Kurdistan Delegation “Having Good Talks” with Iraq’s PM-Designate: Official

ERBIL — A delegation from the Kurdistan Region is holding another meeting with Iraq’s Prime Minister-designate Mohammed Allawi today in Baghdad.

Ziad Petros, a member of the negotiation team from Kurdistan, told BasNews that today’s talks are “going well”.

He explained that they are discussing Kurdistan’s constitutional, financial, and political rights.

“The negotiations today are likely to find a solution to the disputes,” Petros added.
The delegation is made up of representatives from Kurdistani political parties, working to preserve the rights of Kurdistan within the next government of Iraq under Allawi’s leadership.
