Barzani’s party backs down from the boycott of the next government and declares it’s support

Baghdad – The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) announced on Sunday its support for the government of Prime Minister-designate Adel Abdul-Mahdi after intensive dialogues by the head of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Najirvan Barzani, with the political parties in Baghdad.

“The Democratic Party welcomed the appointment of Adel Abdul Mahdi, the formation of the next government, being a moderate figures and have good relations with the Kurdish forces,” said the party’s deputy, Fian Sabri, in an exclusive interview with (Baghdad today), stressing that “the party will participate in the process Political future “.

Sabri added that “the dialogues conducted by the President of the Government of the Territory, Nechirvan Barzani, in Baghdad, led to the decline of the Democratic Party’s position on not participating in the next government.” She explained that “the Democrat has an electoral entitlement, and will have ministries of sovereignty and service capable of managing.

The Kurdistan Democratic Party, has held several visits to Baghdad, recently, during which he met with leaders of the political blocs, and leaders of the parties, and discussed with them issues of participation in the political process, and steps to form a new government, and the benefits of the Kurds in the next phase.

Barzani’s party, its participation in the new government, which was appointed by Adel Abdul Mahdi, pledged to the principles of consensus, balance, participation and respect for the Constitution, principles often called by the leader of the Democratic Party Massoud Barzani.
