Quite the opposite, in fact – they are major players. Some of the OPEC members have substantially less resources than Iraq. This is important to remember because to this very day, Iraq has not made any promises to abide by the current agreement. This gives them the full ability to stockpile reserves, and flood the market at a moment’s notice, which could bring in an enormous pile of cash to use in any way they want…You know, like… funding an RV.
