Top ISIS leader, Al Halabi, killed in Tal Afar

A senior member of ISIS terrorist group, Abu Abdullah Al Halabi, was killed in Tal Afar city in Nineveh governorate, a local source said on Monday.

In statements, the source said that the terrorist, a Syrian national, was the deputy head of ISIS security department in Tal Afar, adding that he was killed near his house in the city.

ISIS imposed curfew in the town after the killing of its member and deployed its militiamen within the framework of heightening its state of alert.

This comes as the offensive launched on 19th of February by US-backed Iraqi forces, supported by Iranian-backed sectarian IMIS Shiite militias, to oust ISIS terrorists from Mosul, their last major stronghold in Iraq.
