High security measures and cutting roads leading to Tahrir Square in central Baghdad A security source said on Friday that the security forces began to close some roads leading to Tahrir Square in conjunction with the influx of demonstrators to the scene in central Baghdad.
The source told "Al-Ghad Press" that "the security forces began cutting off some roads leading to Tahrir Square in central Baghdad, to protect demonstrators and prevent the occurrence of security breaches."
He added that "security forces deployed in the streets near the square, and cut the road on vehicles, to protect the demonstrations that may be launched tonight," stressing that "the forces tightened its security measures for fear of the demonstrators."
The Tahrir Square in the capital Baghdad, large demonstrations on most Fridays, in order to demand the reform and the expulsion of spoilers from the government, and the latest change the Electoral Commission.
