Abadi, King Abdullah discuss anti-ISIS war

Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and Jordan's King Abdullah II discussed Thursday by phone the importance of cooperation to combat terrorism and remove its threats from the region.

Abadi's office said in a press statement "The prime minister received today a telephone call from the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Abdullah bin al-Hussein where they discussed boosting bilateral relations in various fields, in addition to the situation in the region".


The statement added both leaders had discussed the Iraqi victories against ISIS terrorist gangs, stressing the necessity to eliminate extremist ideologies.
