Industry and services shares rise with Iraq index at closing

Economy News Baghdad:

The general index of the Iraqi Stock Exchange closed Sunday, the first session of the week, up 0.16%, to the point of 602.86, winning about 0.97 points, compared to levels of Thursday session.

The performance of the index today was led by a rise in the number of shares, led by Iraqi Land Transport by 3.85%, followed by chemical and plastic by 3.64%, and the industry and trade of cardboard, metal and bicycles 3.57% and 2.99% respectively.
On the other hand, Al-Mansour hotels fell 3.51%, electronic industries by 1.64%, Al Mamorah Real Estate and Ishtar Hotels by 1.46% and 0.8% respectively.

Sumer Bank was trading volume of KD 172.69 million and 191.88 million shares.
Liquidity increased today to about 510.15 million dinars, compared to 454.02 million dinars in the previous session, and increased to 703.68 million shares, compared to 690.04 million shares in Thursday's session.
