Zubaidi calls for "serious" thinking of digging a trench between the areas of Anbar

The former minister of transport, Baqir al-Zubaidi, called for serious thinking of digging a trench with observation towers to close the road connecting the areas of "Rawa, Aana and al-Qa'im" in Ameriyya of Falluja, describing it as "the path of evil."

Zubaidi said in a statement that the digging of a trench to close the "road of evil" link between the areas of "Rawa and Aana and Qaim" and Amiriya Falluja, "must succeed as the leadership of the operations of the Middle Euphrates dug a moat to isolate the Anbar desert on the borders of Najaf and Karbala."

Zubaidi added that "the victories of our armed forces and our popular mobilization in the battles of the liberation of Mosul, has angered the enemies of Iraq and made them increase their pain for our people in the holy month."

At the same time, al-Zubaidi expressed his confidence in the awareness of Iraqis in "thwarting all terrorist plans against the homeland," as he put it.

It is noteworthy that the security forces recaptured most of the towns and towns of Anbar from the control of the Daqash organization, mid-2015 and early 2016, while the organization still controls the districts of "Aana, Rawa, and Qaim" maximum western province.
