8 Iraqi soldiers killed in explosion in Mosul's Zanjili

Eight soldiers of the Iraqi government forces have been killed after an explosive device went off in al-Zanjili district, located in Mosul city, Nineveh Governorate.

Iraqi Federal Police has recently announced that 65 percent of al-Zanjili district in Mosul's right bank has been recaptured from ISIS terrorists.

Reports have revealed that at least 6,000 civilians were forced out from their homes because of the ongoing fighting in the district.
