Erbil organizes communal Iftar for displaced children

Esna' a Basma "make a smile" volunteer group on Monday organized a communal Iftar in Erbil city in northern Iraq for orphaned children forced from their home in Mosul and Kurdistan region.

The group's activities are part of the group's ongoing support for displaced people and civilians who have left money and homes behind as a result of ongoing military operations in Mosul city to retake its western part from the terrorist's grip.

The Iftar included gifts for children aimed to bring joy to their hearts, as children and their families live in difficult humanitarian situations.

The volunteer team, which is supported by donors, was founded almost three years ago since ISIS terrorist group took control of the city in 2014.
