Top ISIS leader killed in right bank of Mosul

Top ISIS leader in charge of ISIS administrative affairs in Nineveh and Raqqa was killed in an aerial shelling in the right bank of Mosul, Military Intelligence Directorate said on Sunday.

In a statement, the directorate said that the ISIS leader AKA Mohamed Mujbil al-Jawari was located at al-Zanjili neighborhood upon receiving accurate intelligence information.

These efforts come as part of an offensive launched on 19th of February by the US-backed Iraqi forces supported by Iranian-backed sectarian IMIS Shiite militias to oust ISIS from Mosul, their last major stronghold in Iraq.
