Jubouri and his Romanian counterpart sign an agreement of cooperation and exchange of experiences

Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri signed a joint agreement with his Romanian counterpart Liviu Draganya on Monday to increase understanding on coordination and exchange of experiences.

"The Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim Al-Jubouri met on Monday with the Speaker of the Romanian House of Representatives, Livyu Draganya," the statement said. "During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and means of enhancing joint cooperation on all levels. During the meeting signed a memorandum of understanding between the two parliaments conducive to more coordination and cooperation and exchange of experiences.

"The meeting discussed the importance of opening new horizons for cooperation at the parliamentary level. The speaker stressed the need to exchange experiences and improve the performance of the workers in the legislative institution," he said.

"Parliament is keen to push for further economic and trade cooperation with Romania, In Iraq, especially in the reconstruction of areas liberated from the organization of the terrorist advocate. "

For his part, Liviu Dragania confirmed his country's support for Iraq in its fight against terrorism and its readiness to provide support and assistance.

Al-Jubouri arrived in Romania on Saturday on a two-day official visit to meet with officials there to discuss ways to develop and strengthen bilateral relations, especially at the parliamentary level.
