Turkish companies are implementing construction projects in the Gulf region worth $ 40 billion

Ruudau - Erbil

50 Gulf investors from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain arrived in the city of Amd Diyarbakir in Kurdistan, Turkey, at the invitation of Turkish Prime Minister.

Turkish media reported that "the visit of Gulf investors to strengthen trade relations and investments between Turkey and the Gulf countries."

The volume of trade between Turkey and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has risen to 16 billion dollars, while Turkish companies are implementing construction projects in the Gulf region worth 40 billion dollars, according to the second Gulf-Turkish Investment Forum held in Manama last November.

The volume of Gulf investments in Turkey has doubled by 500% over the past three years, bringing the total amount of Qatari investments alone in Turkey to about $ 20 billion, while the proportion of properties sold to foreign buyers in Turkey is 24%, most of them are bought by investors from Gulf States.

It is noteworthy that the Turkish economy is clearly suffering, in light of the low level of the local currency, as the attempts of the Central Bank to raise the value of failure, while the policy of bringing foreign investment may be an effective solution to resolve this crisis.
