Excellent points identified in this article Romello. Based upon history, the Kurds too have been a minority oppressed as well. It is a question of reality, when we ask ourselves, who can/will trust any group responsible for the oppression, and killing of one group of people over another? Secondly, is the matter of trustworthiness & justice I think: to sit idly by and watch a crime being committed, without raising one's concerns is in my opinion, complicity. Humanity has an extended history in such matters and I think Iraq (and many other countries) will have an extremely difficult time creating sincere and lasting unity, amongst it's diverse populations...both religious and racially.
