Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Mahdi Al-Alak, said that the government is moving towards a free economy and activating the private sector.

The Secretary of the Council of Ministers, that "there is a gap between the improvement and progress in the economic and investment ground in Iraq and the mechanisms of collecting information that feed these indicators and therefore does not reflect accurate assessment of the national and international effort in this area."

For his part, Abdul Qadirb presented the statement "the current programs implemented by the World Bank in Iraq as a program to improve the work environment and the accompanying operations of registration of companies and obtaining licenses and the conclusion of contracts more efficiently in accordance with international standards, and also addressed the need to open to the provinces and the development of investment strategies, .

For his part, said the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, "The Iraqi government is moving towards the free economy and the revitalization of the private sector and accompanied by the direction of legal and procedural amendments."
