BAGHDAD, Oct 15 (KUNA) — Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki said here Saturday there should be “accuracy and wisdom” in dealing with the issue of the Kuwaiti Mubarak Al-Kabeer port.

Speaking in an interview to an Iraqi satellite channel, to be transmitted later, Al-Maliki said: “The issue of Mubarak Port needs to be addressed in accuracy and wisdom. We have taken significant steps that will lead to a final decision after having taken note of the findings of the technical committee.”

The Iraqi prime minister had sent a technical team to Kuwait to look into the possible effects of the new Kuwaiti harbor on Iraqi maritime movement.
