Khalil accuses the government of disclaiming Erbil Agreement, not abiding by the Constitution
23/03/2012 21:35:00 Baghdad (NINA) – Law maker from the Kurdish Alliance, Mahma Khalil, accused the government of disclaiming Erbil Agreement and not abiding by the Constitution.
In a statement to the press on Friday, Mar. 23, Khalil said that Iraq’s political process has reached a dead end through the government’s disclaiming the Erbil Agreement and Parliament’s failure to make the government accountable, or finding a solution to outstanding political crisis.
He added that Parliament is weak, it does not carry out its task in making the government accountable for not implementing Erbil Agreement and inability to find solutions to outstanding political crisis that are threatening the political process in whole. / End.
