and matched the views of the President and the Prime Minister about the obligation to accelerate the adoption of the rules of procedure of the Council of Ministers and the adoption of oil and gas law and other laws and solve all the problems and difficult issues in the framework of the Constitution and the law. At the meeting there was talk about the general situation in the country and ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Iraq and the United States to serve the common interests of the peoples of the two friendly countries.
It was emphasized that the continuation of efforts that would solve the problems and calm the situation in Iraq and the success of the national conference to be held in the coming period between the political forces.
He praised the U.S. Ambassador to the efforts made ​​by President Talabani to reunite Iraqis wishing to continue this role to bring the views of political parties in accordance with the Constitution and to serve the political process in Iraq.
Talabani welcomed the President and Ambassador Jeffrey decision of the coalition in Iraq to return to attend the meetings of the Council of Representatives, considering this decision a positive step.
