Barzani calls Allawi to avoid escalation

Baghdad (AIN) –An official statement for the Kurdistan Regional Government cited that “President of Kurdistan Region Masoud Barzani called the head of the Iraqiya Slate Ayad Allawi, during their meeting held in Erbil on Wednesday, to avoid further escalation for the current crisis.”
The statement received by All Iraq News Agency AIN “President Barzani emphasized necessity of adopting dialogue to end pending issues and avoid complicating the current crisis.”
“Both, Barzani and Allawi reviewed the political events in Iraq and discussed details of the expected national conference,” the statement mentioned.
Both sides decided to continue their discussions and preparation for holding the national conference, according to the statement.
