Najafi al-Maliki and agree to the truce to defuse the current crisis

Baghdad, January 5 (Rn) - The Iraqi prime minister Nuri al-Maliki and Osama Najafi House on Thursday evening for their agreement on a ceasefire and media to stay away from statements convulsive. And confirmed the agreement on the basics of building for the next stage.

Maliki said at a news conference in Baghdad after meeting Najafi, "We have reached understandings and agreements from the State House Speaker Osama al about the basics of building for the next stage and the need to convene the National Congress."

He said al-Maliki "has been agreed on calm and stay away from statements convulsive." Calling on the political blocs "to stay away from the media escalation."

Maliki said that "preventive Balngeevi came to reassure the Iraqi people", describing the meeting as "positive."

For his part, House Speaker Osama Najafi during the conference that ".. the meeting, we discussed the current political crisis and how to get out understandings with all the worries of the Iraqi people." Asserting that "there is a convergence of views to run the country properly and the advancement of the state on the basis of a sound and correct."

Najafi and that "the meeting today will be a prelude to further meetings." And expressed his hope that "the Iraqi people be satisfied with their results."

Hashemi faces charges related to supporting "terrorism" was issued against him in 19 of last month's arrest warrant, but he refused to appear in court in Baghdad, and said that he spend is subject to pressure the executive branch.

And decided the Iraqi List led by Iyad Allawi, County Council of Ministers and House of Representatives against the backdrop of escalating political differences with the coalition of state law.
