Barzani arrives to Sulaymaniyah.
Sulaymaniyah / NINA / Massoud Barzani, President of Kurdistan arrived in Sulaymaniyah today 25, Dec.
The reporter of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / said "It is scheduled that Barzani is to meet with members of the political bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan PUK later today."
This visit comes after a meeting of the Political Bureau of the National Union Party last Saturday after the deteriorating of President's health, in which PUK stressed on the strategic commitment to the agreements between the parties PUK and KDP. /
Iraqiya MP: Committee on Russian arms deal is to vote on its report today.
BAGHDAD / NINA / MP, of the Iraqiya coalition, Talal al-Zobaie declared that the committee formed of security and defense and Integrity parliamentary committees charged to prepare a report on the Russian arms deal, will vote today on its report, which will contain the names of the characters involved in this deal.
He told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / today that "a joint committee, includes members of the committees of the security and defense and Integrity, had been formed to reveal the people involved in the Russian arms deal through the report that will be submitted in this regard."

He noted that "the implementation of these points, will contribute to get the country out of political conflicts and recurrent crises between the blocs on one hand and between the Governments of the region and the center of the other hand."
Ahrar MP accuses some blocs of fabricating crises to divert attention from the real problems.
BAGHDAD / NINA / MP, of the Ahrar bloc, Abdul Hussein Resan al-Husseini, accused some blocs / did not name / of fabricating crises to distract citizens from the real problems.

Hakim stresses need for tolerance message adopted by Christ

(AIN) -The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, stressed the need of Iraq to the peace and tolerance messages that the Jesus Christ launched and sacrificed for its sake, confirming that the tolerance is the way through which we can resolve many problems and crises experienced by Iraq.
During attending a ceremony of Jesus Christ birthday at Mar Yousif Church in Karada neighborhood of central Baghdad, Hakim said "The Christians in Iraq are not estimated by their number but through their influence, role and contributions in the Iraqi society."
He added "The apostolic projects are the same in essence but numerous in titles and forms."
Nijaifi congratulates Christians on Christmas

Baghdad (AIN) –The parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, congratulated the Christians in the world and Iraq on the occasion of the Christmas.
A statement by Nijaifi's office received by AIN cited "Nijaifi expressed his true wished to the Christians in the world and Iraq on the occasion of the Christmas, wishing them the happiness and the best living."
The statement quoted Nijaifi, as saying "On this occasion, I would like to congratulate the Christians in Iraq who highly contributed in building the culture of Iraq and share the happy and sad moments with the other sects in Iraq."
"I would also like to assure that we re doing our best to sustain security for the Christians in our precious country," he concluded.
Alwani: Demonstrations in Ramadi resulted from calls of chieftains, political sides

Baghdad (AIN) –MP, Ahmed al-Alwani, of the Iraqiya Slate stated that the demonstrations that took place in Ramadi and Falluja cities were resulted from the calls of the chieftains, scholars and the political sides in Anbar province."
In a press statement received by AIN, he said "The civil disobedience called for was due to the violations against the patriotic figures of Anbar province where all the citizens of Anbar support their political leaders and reject underestimating them."
"The citizens want reformation to the political process because it cannot be trusted any more where the accusations are released and no justice is shown," he concluded.
It is worth mentoring that the citizens of Anbar province started a civil disobedience since last Sunday due to arresting the guards of the Finance Minister, Rafi al-Esawi.
