President Obama's administration increased pressure on consignment Iraqi factions, Vaovdt Deputy U.S. Secretary of State Thomas Naides who met in Baghdad Talabani and Maliki today.
Has reviewed President Jalal Talabani today with Deputy U.S. Secretary of State Thomas Naides overall developments in Iraq and the region.
The presidential statement that "Talabani stressed in the meeting, which was attended by the U.S. ambassador in Baghdad, Stephen Beecroft, the importance of relations between Iraq and the U.S. in the light of the agreement signed between the two countries, and the importance of consultation on important issues and developments in Iraq and what is happening from the changes and events in the region."
For his part emphasized Naides "keenness of the United States on Iraq's stability and development of the current path of the democratic experiment in the country in light of the political process, through national dialogue and understanding between the various parties and to help overcome the problems."
Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Thomas Naides.
A statement by al-Maliki's office said "During the meeting, they discussed the development of relations between the two countries and stressed the need to expand the horizons of bilateral cooperation in all areas, as also discussed the latest developments in the region and the Syrian crisis. "
