Iraqiya MP: the atmosphere inside the parliament is with limit the mandate of PM.
BAGHDAD / NINA / MP, of the Iraqiya coalition, Nada al-Jubouri confirmed that the atmosphere inside the House of Representatives is with passing the law to limit the mandate of Prime Minister if it does not contradict with the Constitution. "
Jubouri said in a statement to the / NINA /: "Iraq is still in the beginning of his Parliamentary stage, therefore all presidencies should be limited to consolidate the democratic process " indicating that "limit the mandate of the presidencies does not mean they lose their status and legitimacy because the power is in the political blocs not in the presidencies."
She added: "The draft bill of the mandate of the prime minister is still within the legal committee which prepares laws and proposals, and If it is not incompatible with the Constitution it will be passed in the House of Representatives because the atmosphere in the House of Representatives is with the law of limiting the mandate of the Prime Minister and not against it."
It is mentioned that, Muhsin al-Sadoun, a member of the legal committee in the House of Representatives had announced earlier that "the majority voted to approve the bill of the mandate of the three presidencies."
He said in a statement to the / NINA /: "The committee held a meeting and voted, in majority, within the Committee on the draft law of the mandate of the three presidencies in two terms only."/
