Because of reports of corruption .. Parliamentary Integrity sent a letter to al-Maliki to stop Russian arms deal

Baghdad (news) .. announced Chairman of the Integrity Committee in the House of Representatives Bahaa al-Araji, a book from the Commission to the office of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki requesting a stop Russian arms deal.

He continued: While we congratulate their efforts to build the Iraqi army in order to meet the challenges, but we would like to know Maliki that there are reports and testimony many, especially from his entourage indicate there suspicion of corruption, hoping to stop the transaction suspicious and renegotiate the contract through a committee to be selected with precision and professionalism and transparency.
He said: that the book arrived at the Prime Minister and he would deal positively with him, explaining that the majority of the characters involved in this transaction close to the Prime Minister's Office.
