BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network - The Kurdistan Alliance bloc in the House of Representatives for naming Vice President Mohsen al-Sadoun Chairman of the Committee to implement Article 140 of the Iraqi Constitution, and while confirming that the Commission will start work from today, explained that the start of work of the Committee is a positive step toward resolving the problems the relationship between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government.

The coalition spokesman said pro-Tayeb (Brief Center for the Iraqi Media Network) that
"the committee formed by the House of Representatives on the implementation of Article 140 of the Constitution, consisting of 17 deputies chose today Muhsin al-Sadoun president and deputy bright Naji vice president."

He Tayeb that "the Commission that disrupt work for a long time because of the dispute over the presidency will start work from today," adding that
"the task of the Commission can monitor and control the work of the implementation of Article 140 government and follow-up office material deployed in the provinces, which includes the disputed area."

He continued that
"the Kurdistan Alliance believes that the Commission directly to work is a positive step and a step forward for the implementation of the article, which constitutes a breakthrough between the provincial government and the federal government on the disputed areas."

The Committee is responsible for government to implement Article 140 of the Iraqi Constitution, which related to the disputed areas between the federal government and the Kurdistan region in the provinces of Nineveh and Diyala, Salahuddin, Kirkuk.
