Saadoun's election as the Parliamentary Commission on Article 140

The coalition spokesman said pro-Tayeb (Brief Center for the Iraqi Media Network) that "the committee formed by the House of Representatives on the implementation of Article 140 of the Constitution, consisting of 17 deputies chose today Muhsin al-Sadoun president and deputy bright Naji vice president."

He continued that "the Kurdistan Alliance believes that the Commission directly to work is a positive step and a step forward for the implementation of the article, which constitutes a breakthrough between the provincial government and the federal government on the disputed areas."
The Committee is responsible for government to implement Article 140 of the Iraqi Constitution, which related to the disputed areas between the federal government and the Kurdistan region in the provinces of Nineveh and Diyala, Salahuddin, Kirkuk.
