Barzani; A legal committee in the Parliament is preparing to question PM to withdraw confidence.

Erbil / Nina / Massoud Barzani President of Kurdistan said that a legal committee in the House of Representatives is preparing to question the Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to withdraw confidence from him.

He said according to a statement issued by the Presidency of the Kurdistan region during a meeting with a European joint delegation included Carl Bild, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden and Radoslav Sikorski, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland and Nikolai Maladenov the Foreign Minister of Bulgaria, in presence of Nijarvan Barzani Kurdistan Prime Minister that "Iraq is passing through a serious crisis and the issue is more relevant to the defense of the Constitution and democracy.

He pointed out that the crisis is the uniqueness of power and not complying with the Constitution and the neglecting all the agreements in which the new Iraqi government formed according to these agreements, but we are determined to solve the crisis by the constitution and follow the democratic approach. He explained that there are 170 signatures of the House of Representatives to withdraw confidence.

Barzani continued that "terrorism was the greatest challenge and concerns in Iraq, but now the uniqueness of power and dictatorship is the most challenges faced by Iraq, which has exacerbated the current crisis.

Regarding the situation in Syria, Barzani said the position of Kurdistan region is clear and transparent which is against the killing.

For the situation of the Kurds in Syria, Barzani said, "the Syrian people choose their own future and determine their own destiny, and we are with the development of a democratic regime in Syria."

He noted that the Kurdistan region has so far received more than eight thousand Syrian Kurdish refugees that have taken refuge in the Kurdistan region in cooperation with the (UNHCR) and the institutions of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
