The delegation of the Kurdistan region to discuss with Nujaifi outstanding issues between Baghdad and Erbil

Erbil, October 25 / October (Rn) - A delegation led by the Kurdistan Regional Government, Barham Salih, the outstanding issues between the governments in Baghdad and the Kurdistan region with the head of the Iraqi parliament in Baghdad Osama Najafi.
It was due to visit Baghdad last month in favor of the Kurdistan region in order to visit and sent instead of the government delegation and the delegation held a round of political talks with the leaders of political blocs in Baghdad.
There are several pending issues between Baghdad and Erbil, especially one of the disputed areas and the budget of the Regional Corps (Peshmerga), but the strained relationship surfaced recently, after the rejection of a draft of the Kurdistan Region Oil and Gas Law approved by the Iraqi government.
He says the region that the draft law, however, focus the powers of the Federal Government in the management of oil wealth at the expense of the provincial territory, as he passed by the Council of Ministers, without due process of law.
Under the terms of a Erbil agreements, provided that he agrees on the law of oil and gas, but the region accuse the National Alliance circumvent the conventions and pass the bill without taking the position of the Kurds.

According to the statement, Saleh stressed that "the differences between the federal government and the region is not only a Kurdish Iraqi, but purely on the problems of the political system in general and how to take and decision-making in a participatory manner."
The statement noted that the two sides traded issue balances national and Almkoonatih, regionalism and the need to abide by the agreement to determine the general framework to solve all outstanding problems and without selectivity, as well as the need for urgency in passing important laws related to oil and gas, financial resources and the Federal Court and the Supreme Judicial Council and other laws related affairs political and community
Najafi said that "the completion of these tasks will require a high political participation of all the forces that believe in the political process."

The delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government has arrived in the capital Baghdad overnight, and it is hoped to meet with Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.
