Sadr demands NA to find replacement for Maliki

Baghdad (NINA) Leader of the Sadrist Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, demanded the National Alliance to find a replacement for Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki.
In a reply to a question from one of followers on holding a referendum to choose a Prime Minister if confidence is withdrawn from Maliki's government, Sadr said, "No, it is on the National Alliance to find a replacement, there are more than one alternative."
After the five-partite meeting in Erbil on April 28, in which President Jalal Talabani, Massoud Barazani, Iyad Allawi and Usama al-Nijaifi have participated, Sadr sent a message to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, containing nine points obligating Maliki to implement Erbil Agreement and the points of the five-partite meeting, otherwise he will have to face withdrawal of confidence. / End.
