The President of the House of Representatives Saleem al-Jubouri, Tuesday, surprised at the "interference" of Prime Minister in the affairs of the judiciary, calling on officials in the executive branch, the "interest of their duties and not to interfere in the legislative and judicial branches of both institutions."
Jubouri said in a statement Alsumaria News received a copy of it, that "the system of government in Iraq is based on the separation of powers which requires the non-interference of the executive authority in the affairs of other authorities."
Jubouri expressed "surprise at the intervention of the prime minister in the affairs of the judiciary and to express his opinion in a file for judicial proceedings," calling on officials in the executive branch, the "interest of their duties and not to interfere in the legislative and judicial branches of both institutions."
He concluded his statement the President of the House of Representatives, saying "impressed those who interfere in the judicial affairs despite the lack of experience in the field of judicial proceedings and his lack of legal culture."
