Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink:

The Media Office of Iraqi Premier Haidar al-Ibadi explained the needs for foreign international anti-corruption investigators, pointing that it will prove the "seriousness of the efforts and getting rid of the pressures practised on the Iraqi investigators".

In a statement, the memorandum of understanding on the international investigators was signed yesterday with the United Nations, in a move to "enhance" the reforms made by the Iraqi government.

The corruption dossiers in Iraq are "very complicated" in the country, with years of accumulations.

The memorandum will train the Iraqi cadres on anti-corruption investigations, the statement added.
