Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed that Iraq 's economy is affected directly proportional to the policies and actions of the neighboring countries.

Said committee member Majda al - Tamimi in an interview for "Economy News", that error exists in Iraq and the Kurdistan region is to rely on imports from neighboring countries of Iran, Turkey, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia.

She added that "Iraq has not worked on building its economy and diversify its revenue since the fall of the former regime and until now, and this is what makes our economy is fragile and weak , " indicating that "any political imbalance in neighboring countries affects negatively on the Iraqi economy ".

Tamimi stressed the need " to reconsider building the Iraqi Alaqsad based on the diversification of revenue and the closure of the border ".
