Canada pledged to provide 158 million dollars (110 million euros) in humanitarian aid and a guarantee worth 200 million dollars of loans from the World Bank to the Iraqi Government.

Canadian Foreign Minister Stéphane Dion to all the $ 158 million dollars will be dedicated to ensuring the "basic needs for Iraqis who have been affected by conflict."

Part of this amount will be presented to the United Nations development programme, in assisting the return of Iraqis to restored areas of ISIS.
