The Ministry of Agriculture forbid importing tomatoes, potatoes, sophistication and melon crops to support domestic production

The Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture, on Sunday, to prevent the import of tomatoes, potatoes and sophistication crops, in addition to watermelon crop, so the presence of a local product enough to meet the daily needs of the Iraqi table.

According to a ministry statement seen by Roudao Media Network, said that "the decision comes from the door of the local product protection and support of the Iraqi production, which is the consistent policy pursued by the ministry to monitor the market, and prevent the import of crops that can be dispensed with when the abundance of local crop alternative."

"The abundance of crops are evidence of the safety of agricultural plans approved by the ministry, in addition to support for crops, fertilizer and urea Kasmada dab."
