Water resources: the collapse of the Mosul Dam "media hype" is intended to disrupt the work of the State

It described the Ministry of Water Resources News, which circulated by some media about the possibility of the collapse of the Mosul Dam as "media hype", saying the purpose behind it is to disrupt the work of the Iraqi state.

The Minister of Water Resources Mohsen al-Shammari presided over the thirty-ninth session of the board of the opinion, according to a statement: "We are surprised by the news that promotes the collapse of the dam, despite confirmation from the ministry and in more than one forum that the situation in Mosul Dam reassuring."

Shammari said that "intimidation adopted by some quarters about the possibility of the collapse of the Mosul Dam is designed to disrupt the work of the Iraqi state," praising "the efforts of the ministry cadres working in the dam."

The minister pointed out that "the technical opinion of the Ministry confirmed in more than a forum that Mosul Dam in good condition, and this view is taken from the experts and advisers assigned to follow up on the situation in the dam"
