Member of the parliamentary Finance Committee Sarhan Ahmed Sarhan, Saturday, that the Central Bank does not follow the contractionary policy by maintaining the rate of the Iraqi dinar, among the Government does not know due to not follow Central Bank policy would lead to the strengthening of the Iraqi dinar against the dollar.

The Central Bank considered "axis of economy in Iraq cause upheavals to the ability to grant the Iraqi dinar's strength by displaying large amounts of dollar, leading to a decline in the dollar and in turn brings the price Iraqi dinar".
He noted that "the limited view of the dollar leads to higher prices in the Iraqi market resulting in bench pressing Iraqi dinar", calling on the Central Bank to a policy of "giving strength to the Iraqi dinar, which impacted positively on the current financial crisis." EndeD
