The Authority said in a statement that it "decided to suspend all flights from and to the airports in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah over 48 hours", stating that "this resolution will begin from tomorrow Sunday the 23rd of November at 8:00 am current." The Authority said that "it is aimed at protecting passengers due to crossing the cruise missiles from the Caspian Sea, Iran and Iraq to Syria from the North site navigation (OTALO)."
