He called on the Economic Adviser to the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, on Friday, to hold an expanded conference to discuss the reality of insurance in Iraq, as he emphasized the importance that this conference will come out with recommendations discuss the future of the sector.

Economic Adviser to the Prime Minister and the appearance of Mohammed Saleh said in an interview to the (long-Presse), "The insurance companies in Iraq need to assess their work and restructuring."

He called on Saleh to "hold an expanded conference or a major workshop for insurance companies in Iraq in the presence of the Ministers of Trade and Finance and the Governor of the Central Bank and banks and all relevant authorities and insurance experts."

Economic Adviser to the Prime Minister and explained that "the conference to assess the reality of insurance in Iraq and its future, and come out with recommendations revive this sector and can be implemented as an amendment and the introduction of new laws and the creation of new companies or cancel some corporate systems."

Saleh pointed out that "there are many possibilities for the insurance market in Iraq and personnel and goods," noting that "this important sector being a profitable sector represents the mainstay state."
