The head of the political thinking center Ihsan al-Shammari, Thursday, Vice President Nuri al-Maliki will no longer be the successor to the current prime minister Haider al-Abadi if the move to withdraw confidence from the last, while noting that the bloc rejects Maliki presence in the post of prime minister, but did not mind the character of the other to take over position.
Al-Shammari said in a press statement, that 'Vice President Nuri al-Maliki has the political weight to the level of presence in the parliament and on the large regional support for his character', adding that 'his return to the premiership doomed mechanisms constitutionality of one of the sets Maliki or others to fill the post of prime minister' .
He added that the 'al-Maliki will not return the successor to the current prime minister Haider al-Abadi, both at the level of withdrawal of confidence or even at the level of mechanisms attributing the cause to that Maliki knows the possibility that achieved consensus for the National Alliance on his person is very difficult', noting that 'if it were to move in withdraw confidence from the al-Abadi, Maliki will be influential in the personal choice of which will replace Abadi '.
He noted that 'rejection of the personality of al-Maliki by some blocs began not as prime minister for the third jurisdiction of the rejection is still an ongoing', adding that 'these blocks rejects Maliki presence in the post of prime minister, but did not mind the character of the other if it is to move the process of replacing the Abadi'.
