Abadi defies opponents and confirms the continuation of reforms for "the advancement of the country."

BAGHDAD - Iraq Press - October 30: The Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi stressed to continue reforms for the advancement of the country, amid the announcement of the political forces not convinced reformist steps. A statement of the Information Office of Ebadi received / Iraq Press / copy of it, confirmed that al-Abadi held a meeting a series of civilian activists, was to discuss the demands of the demonstrators and the situation taking place in the country. Abadi and listened to their views and narratives about what the challenges faced by the country, and the issues of reforms and the fight against corruption, in addition to a number of topics that relate to many of the files that belong to the Iraqi arena. Abadi also gave thanks to the commitment and respect for the law of protesters during the demonstrations, and answered their questions. The Prime Minister stressed the need for continued meetings activists out to serve the country and achieve the welfare of his children in light of the difficulties of political, security, economic and financial challenges, stressing the continuation of reforms for the advancement of the country, and the fight against corruption in any of the detailed aspects of the state. This comes at a time of national forces Union announced not "convinced" all his deputies recent reform measures to the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, describing such actions as "administrative" and "austerity". It also announced 60 deputies from the coalition of state law to withdraw their mandate for reforms Abadi.
