Parliamentary calls to get $ 25 of every visitor to Iraq October 28, 2015
Invited Member of the Committee on tourism and parliamentary impact Hussein Al-sharifi on Wednesday, the Iraqi Government to subtract $ 25 from each visitor to Iraq expecting to enter five million visitors during the visit of the forty.
Sharifi said at a press conference held in the building of the House and attended by the correspondent economy newsletter that "the Foreign Ministry should work to meet the amount entering the arrivals of Iraq for the benefit of all border crossings," warning of "falling into the same mistakes of previous years by opening the border unchecked before arriving in the country and not seek material amounts of incoming tourism.
Sharifi said, that "the Government should be the responsibility of the financial grant fee (Visa) for visiting to Iraq to visit holy shrines", calling on the Government to "Act to deduct an amount of money of not less than $ 25 for each visitor.
He appended to it "is not the right government nor its President nor any other party should abolish such fees", "more than five million tourists and visitors on the occasion of the visit to honor Imam Hussain (a.s.)".
