A demonstration in front of the port of Umm Qasr to protest a sales tax

Organized dozens of dealers and suppliers of vehicles in Basra province, Wednesday morning, a peaceful demonstration at the entrance to the port of Umm Qasr to protest the application of sales tax of 15% plus 3% applicable previously, demanding the Federal Government to abolish the new tax and the old tax system like the Kurdistan regional ports.

He said an economy that protestors cut off the road leading to the harbor for several minutes with security devices has to be opened before the movement of vehicles and goods.
